FUNDING PRIORITIES
As a separate, non-profit entity, The Catholic Foundation supports the mission and ministries of the Roman Catholic Church in the northern Colorado region. The Foundation awards grants for projects, programs and operations in the following areas of interest:
  Clergy Retirement
  Community Services and Social Concerns
  Diocesan Catholic Schools
  Local Parishes and Institutions
  Religious Education and Evangelization
  Seminary and Theological Formation

Capital and endowment grants are rarely given.

ELGIBILITY
Applicant must be a non-profit organization currently recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a public charity described in sections 501(c)(3) and 509(a)(1), (2), or (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 as amended (the "Code"):
  Your status under sections 401(c)(3) and 509(a) of the Code has not changed since the issuance of the
     IRS determination letter which you provided to the Foundation, and
  there is no issue presently pending before any office of the Internal Revenue Service that could result in
     any proposed changes to your status under Sections 501(c)(3) and 509(a) of the Code
