Bud Laber, President, will be interviewed on KPIO 1570 AM (an EWTN radio program) this Friday September 9th at 8:00 a.m. to talk about The Catholic Foundation of Northern Colorado.

The Catholic Foundation is about inspired planning and giving. Bud will share how the Foundation is helping Catholics like you find smart ways to support what they believe in – initiatives that are significant to our lives as Catholics here in northern Colorado.

Donor-Advised Funds Impact Northern Colorado

Gerald J. “Bud” Laber, president of The Catholic Foundation of Northern Colorado announced $539,474 in the second-quarter grants from donor-advised and other charitable funds of the Foundation.

“Catholics want to support initiatives they really believe in such as strengthening our parishes, teaching our children, preparing our priests, spreading the Gospel and caring for the poor. The Catholic Foundation of Northern Colorado helps them find financially smart ways to do that,” said Laber.

The Catholic Foundation Appoints New Trustee, Announces Grants

Thomas D. Heule, Chairman of The Catholic Foundation for the Roman Catholic Church in Northern Colorado, announced the appointment of James G. Kontny to the board. “As do all of The Catholic Foundation’s trustees, Jim shares a deep commitment to the Catholic faith and displays his love of the Church by his service,” said Heule.

Kontny is president and manager of Farmers Grain Company a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Julesburg. Read more…
