Endowment Fund
We can help you create a gift that keeps on giving.
Of the fund accounts entrusted to The Catholic Foundation, half are endowments created by donors who want to ensure ongoing support for specific charitable purposes.
How It Works
As you may have discovered already through research or planning, an endowment fund allows you to decide where your money will go, following agreed-upon guidelines. The Foundation manages the invested funds and distributes grants according to your pre-determined purpose.
If appropriate, the fund may be listed in our Giving Catalog so you can easily invite others to make contributions too.
What You Need to Know
The Catholic Foundation of Northern Colorado has established standards for endowment funds that are in keeping with our mission and financial management priorities, including:

- Additional contributions at any time, any amount
- Monthly fund performance reports
- Annual grant distributions
- Grant calculations determined by fund agreement
- Grants to qualified non-profit organizations
- Grants kept anonymous if desired
- Grants in accordance with the mission of the Foundation
Appropriate for funding operations, capital improvements or school scholarship programs
